The Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment invites applications for a position as Youth Summer Assistant at their office in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Employment Services Manager, the Summer Employment assistant will be responsible for ensuring quality administrative support to Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment through effective communication, organization and technical skill. Duties will include but not be limited to; coordinating and generating reports, clerical support, responding to and directing public inquiries, arranging for travel, preparing of meeting rooms and any other duties assigned by the Employment Services Manager.
Qualifications:
To be eligible, applicants must be youth aged 15 – 30. The ideal candidate would be Métis, possess excellent public communication skills, good report writing skills and general computer skills are required. This position is funded under the Canada Youth Summer Work Program.
Term: May 2022 – August 30, 2022
Location: Meadow Lake, SK
Salary: $19.23 per hour/ 35 hours per week
