Request for Proposals: Museum and Gallery Expansion Feasibility Study

The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research Inc. (GDI) invites proposals to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the potential expansion of GDI’s Museum and Gallery. The feasibility study will support organizational decision-making by evaluating the technical, cultural, operational, and financial considerations associated with a potential museum expansion. The RFP outlines the requirements, expectations, and evaluation criteria for the selection of a Proponent capable of successfully delivering the study. Proponents should review all sections and schedules of the RFP carefully before submitting to ensure the proposal is complete and aligned with the stated requirements.

RFP – Museum and Gallery Expansion

Proposals will only be accepted in electronic format. Proponents must submit one (1) electronic copy by email, clearly indicating the RFP title and marked “GDI Museum and Gallery Expansion Feasibility Study – CONFIDENTIAL” in the subject line, to the RFP contact identified below, no later than June 30th, 2026, at 16:30 CST. Late submissions may not be accepted.

The following is the anticipated schedule of events for this RFP. These dates are provided as target dates only and may be changed at the sole discretion of GDI. GDI reserves the
GDI Museum and Gallery Expansion Feasibility Study reserves the right to modify the schedule at any time and will notify Proponents of any changes by addendum, where appropriate.

  • RFP Released June 2nd, 2026
  • Deadline for Inquiries June 23rd, 2026
  • RFP Closing Date June 30th, 2026
  • Evaluation of Proposals July 2nd – 15th, 2026
  • Notice of Intent to Award (if applicable) July 22nd, 2026
  • Execution of Service Agreement July 31st, 2026

    The anticipated schedule is subject to change. GDI shall not be liable for any costs incurred by Proponents as a result of changes to the schedule.
