The Gabriel Dumont Scholarship Foundation (GDSF) is pleased to announce that the new scholarship application portal is live and accepting applications.
The Gabriel Dumont Institute has been administering scholarships for Saskatchewan’s Métis since the early 1980s through the Gabriel Dumont Scholarship Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to Métis students who are Saskatchewan residents and are registered as full-time students at an accredited post-secondary institution. The scholarship programs are intended to recognize leadership, academic ability, financial need, and community involvement of students who meet the eligibility criteria for any or all scholarship programs.
All applications must be submitted through the newly developed online application portal. Paper applications will not be accepted and only applications submitted through the portal will be considered. After visiting the portal, you will be required to create an account and submit an eligibility quiz. From here the list of eligible scholarship programs will be displayed. Apply for each individually. A lot of the information is saved and reused so you only need to enter it once.
