We need your talent and creativity to help with the design of a logo for the Oẏateki Partnership!

About the Contest
Oẏateki is a Dakota concept, meaning – all people together, and leaving no people behind. The Oẏateki Partnership is a collaboration between Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, Gabriel Dumont Institute, and the University of Saskatchewan, that will support First Nations and Metis youth in Saskatchewan on their educational journeys, and in accessing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
We’re looking for a logo that reflects the strong partnership between three of Saskatchewan’s post-secondary institutions, as well as the idea of moving forward together as we work towards promoting education and employment systems transformation in Saskatchewan in service of Indigenous young people.
Submission Details
The selected design must be:
✅Open to Indigenous youth in Saskatchewan – between the ages of 15 and 30.
✅Representative of the concept of Oẏateki (as described above)
Reflective of the three partner institutions – U of S, GDI, and SIIT
No more than four (4) colours
10 inches by 10 inches in size

Original submissions can be mailed to 229 4th Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 4K3, or e-mailed to oyateki@siit.ca – if the artwork is in digital format. Logo selection will be made by the Oẏateki Partnership Governance Circle, in consultation with Knowledge Keepers and the Youth Advisory Circle. The deadline for all submissions is January 14, 2022.

The artist of the selected design will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with an Indigenous design firm to finalize the logo and will receive an honorarium and prize package. 2nd and 3rd place design submissions will each receive a prize package. 😎
