Métis Entrepreneurship Workshop
GDI is pleased to offer our two-day in-person Métis Entrepreneurship Workshop facilitated by Ballad Consulting. If you are a Métis person looking to start your own business and are interested in learning about the resources that might be available to you, we encourage you to sign up for this workshop!
The two-day Métis Entrepreneurship workshops will provide you with an introduction to entrepreneurship and the resources available to pursue your business venture successfully. Whether you have a new business idea that you would like to pursue, or would like help growing your existing business, these workshops will help you understand the steps necessary to achieve your goals.
At each workshop, experts will share information about what it means to be an entrepreneur, identifying markets and business opportunities, analyzing the competition, protecting yourself against risks, and the different sources of capital that are available. Additionally, each session will include time for group discussion, networking, and one on one advice about your business. After attending a workshop, you will be connected with people who can help you proceed with your idea and will have access to the resources necessary to succeed.
Workshops are offered free of charge to all Saskatchewan Métis.

- June 8th & 9th
- Located at the Métis Local/Registry Building, 1321 Pederson Avenue, Buffalo Narrows.
- All workshops include a hot breakfast and lunch.
- Networking begins at 8:30 AM and workshops conclude at 4:00 PM each day
